Resources are items and blocks which may be collected from [[Planet|planets]], [[Asteroid|asteroids]] and [[Neutral Stations|derelict stations]], possibly processed in a [[Capsule Refinery]] or [[Micro Assembler]].

==Raw Materials==
There are three kinds of raw material, each of which must be processed in a [[Capsule Refinery]] to obtain [[#Production Materials|production materials]] used in most kinds of construction.

==Production Materials==
Production materials are obtained by processing [[#Raw Materials|raw materials]] as described above. These materials are widely used in most other [[:Category:Factory|factory]] recipes, though they can also be used decoratively.

There are two general purpose production materials:
