Power Capacitors are what all ship systems draw their power from. Larger connected groups allow for more power to be stored per block used. If the total power capacity of a structure is less than that of the structures power generation, the excess power is lost. Systems trying to draw more power than is available in the power storage will have difficulty operating as well.
Power Capacitors are like the batteries of a ship, while Power Reactor Modules are the generators.
