Each Ship Core functions as the cornerstone of your ship, it also provides a basic amount of thrust, power generation, power capacity, as well as some shield capacity. Remember, always carry spare cores to avoid becoming marooned. Press X with a Ship Core anywhere in your inventory to place the core in the space in front of you. Press R to Enter/Exit.
