For outdenting a reply on talk pages, when conversations become too indented.
Indenting is done using a : (colon character), with each reply having one extra colon. This template creates a line from the previous response to the new one based on the number of colons used for the previous post, indicating that the conversation is continuing.

Parameters
- 1: Level of outdenting required, either in colons "::::", or an integer "4"
- reverse (optional): If set, reverses the template so that it indents instead of outdents posts.
- yes: Only valid input for this parameter.
Usage
Standard
To outdent a conversation, give as the only parameter the amount of colons used for the last post, or the integer amount.
:::::: This is a conversation 6 levels deep. {{Outdent|6}} The conversation can now continue at the first level.

:::::: This is a conversation 6 levels deep. {{Outdent|::::::}} The conversation can now continue at the first level.

Reverse
In this mode, the template acts the same, except it will indent (ie. move the conversation to a deeper level). This is very rarely a useful function for the average user.
