A useful building material that’s as tough as hull but weighs only one fifth as much. This excellent strength to mass ratio makes them an ideal choice for cladding light ships, and they’re also very cheap to manufacture. Note that unlike hull they cannot be converted to slabs or even wedges, and they don’t give you any armor hitpoints. Still, used judiciously they can make light ships even faster while not increasing vulnerability too much.
