Auxiliary power is a new block type that tries to replace docked reactors.

The grouping mechanism works such that they don't require spatial patterns. in small groups, auxilliary power adds 25.2 power per block.

This can go all the way up to a maximum.

When turned on, the auxilliary power dumps its capacity into the main ship. It would require a group of 7890 power capacitors to hold the total capacity.

Adding a separate group of 9890 blocks will double the output, maintaining the bonus per block, and you can add as many groups as you like.

As this is such a low number, it's not even worth effort to use these unless the bonus per block from your onboard power reactors is below 193 per block, and you have more than 9000 reactor blocks and 8000 capacitors.
