Stop Effect Computers are the main terminal for Stop Effect systems. This effect can be used offensively or defensively depending on whether or not it is connected to a weapon system.

Stop Effect systems add a gravity neutralizing effect to ships or weapons. When used offensively it can halt a ships movement in space, essentially freezing it in place. Defensively it grants an anti-gravity field to a ship allowing it to fly through a planets atmosphere with falling to its surface.

Usage

The Stop Effect Computer must be connected to at least one Stop Effect Module (using C and V) to have any effect.

Offensive

When Connected to a Weapons System as a tertiary effect, block damage will be converted into a braking effect, holding the target in place.

Defensive

When disconnected from other weapons, the Stop Effect Computer can be toggled on to allow the ship to move unaffected by the forces of gravity.
