Glass are lightly armored transparent blocks similar to star ship hull plating. They act as the first tier in armored defense and sacrifice defense for maneuverability. While low on survivability a layer of basic hull is much better then exposing vital system blocks to enemy fire. This block is the basis for its armor line. Additional shapes as well as light sources are made from this one block.
Through the use of Advanced Build Mode it is possible to compress this block into Slab variations of itself. Slabs maintain the exact same stats as the original block but are smaller in size.
