Basic Factories are the first tier of factory units in the crafting hierarchy. They are the only factory system that can be built directly from the player's inventory. They are responsible for creating basic system blocks such as Ship Cores, Power Reactor Modules, and Thruster Modules as well as all basic hulls. Basic Factories are often the first leg in larger, more complex factory set ups.
