Grey Hull Heptas are lightly armored heptas of star ship hull plating. They are molded from Grey Hull and act as the first tier in armored defense, sacrificing defense for maneuverability. While low on survivability a layer of basic hull is much better then exposing vital system blocks to enemy fire. Heptas can be oriented in: 8 Directions.

As of Alpha Version 0.199.429 this shape as well as all non block versions of various other blocks have been merged into their base block. This means that this shape no longer needs to be crafted separately and is "created" through the use of its base block's hot bar radial menu.
